CWPO Toolkit
This toolkit provides the learner with:
- What to expect in a CWPO role and what support there is to get started
- How to work collaboratively with the club committee, by fostering open communications, promoting a child centred culture, and upholding the club’s duty of care to its members.
- How to work more closely with the governing body of sport and how they can assist the CWPO in the role
- What legislative and policy frameworks you need to know as a CWPO.
- Ensuring that your safeguarding practices are up-to-date and effective and provide guidance on how to enhance the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- How to respond to concerns.
- Signposting to further information and contacts.
