Course Overview
This workshop is designed to support people to recruit, develop and retain volunteers. It is based around three key themes: Know your volunteers. Know the environment (organisation/programme/NGB). Know volunteering. The Workshop Outcomes are as follows:
- Recruiting – be able to identify methods of good practice
- Supporting and Developing - recognise the importance of support and development and explore tools to do this
- Recognition and reward - recognise the importance of recognition and reward and explore tools to do this.
- Retention - understand that the sports workforce can be retained by implementing all the above
This workshop can be be delivered face to face (1 x 3 hours) or online (2 x 90 mins).
The workshop duration is either 2 x 90 minutes (online) or a 3 hour workshop (face-to-face).
