Course Overview

This free e-learning comprises 11 modules which you can work through at your own pace, and each module will take around 30 minutes to complete. The modules include theory, tools, resources, case studies and quizzes.

By understanding community need and being responsive to this through our planning, design and delivery, clubs and community organisations will engage more participants as well as more diverse participation, thereby creating strong, sustainable, safe, and inclusive clubs and organisations that meet the needs of their community and their members.

This approach is about intentionally using sport to create positive change in people’s lives and their communities. It’s more than simply just increasing participation—it’s about understanding and responding to real social issues such as mental health, social isolation, community cohesion and anti-social behaviour.

This is an e-learning course, it will be delivered through self-paced online learning.

Circa 30 minutes per module.

The course has a duration of approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes.
